This week we are learning about the United Nations. Friday October 24th, marks the day that the world celebrates our unity.This day recognized the United Nation organization and all who serve and participate in this world organization. The United Nations is dedicated to world peace and to the betterment of humanity through a wide range of program from world hunger to environment and health issues. Almost all of the more than 100 countries in the world are members of this organization.
The United States of America was admitted into the United Nations 24 October 1945.
